The first couple to leave the Love Island villa on Friday night refused to sit on the same sofa after a furious row on last night’s Aftersun. The pair had clashed in the days leading up to their exit and are still not on good terms following their return to England.

The pair were the first to be given the boot

Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield explained that the pair had asked to not do the interview with each other and asked to sit on separate sofas. The show used a split screen to show them from their different sides of the studio.

Lorraine Kelly pulled a face when she announced the pair will take it in turns on the sofa

Charlie admitted things weren’t good between them: “We’re fine, but it’s frosty. I’m a bit annoyed to be honest. I’m bitter and angry but not to her. I’m gutted not to still be in there.”

Harley tried to get in the last word at the interview: “You can’t be so certain you wouldn’t be in the bottom two when you’re up against Alex! So have a little think on that one…”

But Charlie snapped back: “I wouldn’t have been in the bottom two if I was with someone else.”
